Steve Mullaney

Steve Mullaney has 25 years of executive management, sales, marketing, product management, and engineering experience in network infrastructure and information security. He most recently served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Networking & Security Business Unit (NSBU) at VMware until October 2014. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Nicira Networks, Inc. from 2009 until the acquisition of Nicira by VMware in July 2012. Prior to Nicira, he served as a Vice President of Marketing and interim CEO at Palo Alto Networks. He served as a Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Blue Coat Systems, Force10 Networks, ShoreTel, and Growth Networks. He also spent ten years at SynOptics and Bay Networks in various marketing, product management and engineering roles, culminating with his role as Vice President of Enterprise Marketing. Prior to SynOptics, he held various design engineering positions at GTE Government Systems. He has been a Director of Metaswitch Networks Ltd since August 2014, and he holds a BSEE from University of Rhode Island.


Jeremy Schneider

Managing Director
jJeremy Schneider joined WIN as a Senior Associate in January, 2011. In October 2016, he was promoted to Managing Director. Prior to WIN, Jeremy was a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Company in San Francisco, where he focused on technology companies and worked in the Private Equity Group. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College, where he majored in History. He has a Master’s degree in Economic and Social History from The University of Oxford, where he was a Clarendon Scholar. Jeremy grew up in the Bay Area and is thrilled to have the opportunity to work closely with entrepreneurs and to immerse himself in the world of start-ups.
