Beth Axelrod

Beth is the Vice President of Employee Experience at Airbnb.  She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Heidrick & Struggles, the leading global executive search, leadership consulting and culture shaping firm. She also sits on the Board of Bulger Partners, a private investment banking and strategy consulting firm.

Beth was eBay Inc.’s Senior Vice President, Human Resources for 10 years, until the spin out of PayPal. She was also a member of the executive team of the company. Beth was responsible for all aspects of the company’s human resources capabilities designed to drive the performance of the business including HR strategy, recruiting, learning and development, compensation, benefits, HR data analytics, gender diversity and the continuing evolution of the company’s culture.

Previously, Beth was Chief Talent Officer at WPP Group plc, one of the world’s leading communications services firms, where she was also an executive director. She was responsible for all aspects of HR worldwide.

Before WPP, Beth spent nearly 12 years at McKinsey & Company where she was a partner serving clients’ strategy and organization needs. While at McKinsey, she co-authored The War for Talent. She started her career in investment banking mergers and acquisitions.

Beth serves on four academic Advisory Boards: Jay H. Baker Retailing Center at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; UC Berkeley Center for Executive Education; Clayman Institute for Gender Research at Stanford University; YaleWomen, the global alumnae network of Yale University.

She holds a B.S.E. degree with a concentration in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s degree in Public and Private Management (MPPM) from the Yale School of Management.


Jeremy Schneider

Managing Director
jJeremy Schneider joined WIN as a Senior Associate in January, 2011. In October 2016, he was promoted to Managing Director. Prior to WIN, Jeremy was a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Company in San Francisco, where he focused on technology companies and worked in the Private Equity Group. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College, where he majored in History. He has a Master’s degree in Economic and Social History from The University of Oxford, where he was a Clarendon Scholar. Jeremy grew up in the Bay Area and is thrilled to have the opportunity to work closely with entrepreneurs and to immerse himself in the world of start-ups.
