Shripriya is a partner at Omidyar Networks, where she leads the global Consumer Internet and Mobile initiative. She has spent over fifteen years as an executive in high-growth technology companies. She has been an active angel investor in, and board member or advisor to, private technology companies throughout her career.
Prior to joining Omidyar Network, Shripriya led product and design at First Look Media. She formerly held several leadership roles at eBay. She was Vice President of Product Marketing where she was responsible for business and marketing leadership of all aspects of Buyer and Seller products, the eBay Developer’s Program and Private Marketplaces. She oversaw the $400 million revenue business and 65 person team that determined pricing strategies for the North American business and increased the feature fee business to exceed $100 million per quarter.
Shripriya also led eBay’s 70-person Product Management team that was responsible for product design and management for all eBay’s products on a global level. She set up the Product Strategy team responsible for defining eBay’s long-term product strategy and a team within Corporate Strategy that was responsible for identifying acquisition opportunities for eBay. Prior to eBay, Shripriya was the VP of eCommerce at NextCard, the then premier online credit card company backed by Kleiner, Sequoia, Redpoint and Trinity.
Shripriya has a deep interest in the visual arts, and directed Academy Award® nominees James Franco and Jessica Chastain as part of a collaborative feature that premiered at the Rome Film Festival and opened theatrically.
She has an MBA from Harvard Business School, a B.A. in Economics from Stella Maris University and is an MFA candidate at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
